Glock Slide Cover

Here is my design for a 3d printed Glock slide cover. This slides into place just like the factory one and could be edited to include cool designs or initials if you wanted. I printed this one out on the XYZ printer and it worked perfectly. Below are the pictures of the cover installed, printed in Blue so you can see the contrast. If you plan to use this or any gun related part I would suggest using ABS as it stands up to heat better then PLA. Originally printed on a XYZprinting Da Vinci 1.0 3D Printer
You can find the design on my thingiverse page here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:610438

This has been removed from thingaverse, any chance of adding it to grabcad?
Very cool – is there a way you can post this in Grabcad as an .IGS file. The ones I find are not to spec.
also looking for this file too since it’s been removed from thingiverse
